workshop
We are facilitated a 16-day activism training project facilitated in partnership with the Ministry of Health, starting in just 2 days. This initiative will empower participants to advocate for health-related issues. We’re also thrilled to share that I will be posting my page soon! SRCS Meeting
We held a productive meeting with the SRCS team to discuss our collaborative efforts in the rehabilitation, reproductive health, and first aid sectors. Together, we explored innovative strategies to enhance our services and address community needs effectively. Our partnership aims to improve access to vital resources and training, ensuring that individuals receive the support they require. We are excited about the potential impact of our collaboration and look forward to implementing these initiatives in the near future.

Galkayo Mental Health
We conducted a field visit to Galkayo, focusing on mental health and psychiatric services. This visit allowed us to assess the current state of mental health support in the community and identify areas for improvement. We engaged with local healthcare providers and community members to understand their needs better. Our discussions highlighted the importance of accessible mental health resources and training for professionals. We are committed to enhancing mental health services in Galkayo and fostering a supportive environment for all individuals.

PSYCHOLOGICAL FIRST AID WORKSHOP
Today 9th march, we had an incredible workshop on (Psychological First Aid) in collaboration with the Global Science University Student Association. This session was aimed at equipping participants with essential skills to support mental health and well-being in our communities.

🎉Let's Unite Hooyo Has Launched! 🎉
We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of Let’s Unite Hooyo, our new initiative dedicated to creating safe spaces for new mothers.
Recently, we hosted our first community meetup, bringing together new mothers to share experiences, advice, and encouragement. These gatherings have become vital resources for connection and support.
We invite all new mothers to join our community and participate in our upcoming activities. Together, we can create a nurturing environment that uplifts and empowers!

Galkayo Female Youth Conference
We are excited to share that we successfully held the conference titled “Building Self-Perception, Self-Acceptance, and Healthy Confidence” for young women in Galkayo. Over 20 participants engaged in meaningful discussions and activities.
At Kaaba, we are dedicated to empowering girls by enhancing their wellbeing and creating a safe space for healing, growth, and learning. Our programs are designed to inspire and equip young women with the tools they need to thrive.

Haween Kaab Initiative Launch
Today, we officially launched the “Haween Kaab” Project aimed at mothers during pregnancy living in the Ajuuraan camp. This program will run for two months and will cover topics related to mental health. The theme of our opening session was an overview of mental health, focusing on how to communicate and raise awareness effectively.
